Catch up on George Lewis Jr., known as Twin Shadow, and currently shooting sparks across many o' music-blog these days. Growing up the son of a hairdresser in the suburbs of Florida, Lewis migrated to New York to allow its labrynthine lay of multifaceted musical veins surge through him as he set down to create what would become Forget. The record's songs were further melded by Lewis' trip to Europe, a stay in Berlin inevitably helping to add a bit of Bowie-tinged euro-pop elegance to his already firm penchants for New Wave.
