Tuesdays in the Forest

The Loving Touch's weekly evening of music and merriment (helmed by Richie Wohlfiel) will welcome Augie (of the Hard Lessons, recent cover story band of Ferndale Friends, pictured right...) and Scotty (of the Bellyache Candy Shoppe and Record Label) spinning some tunes in "the forest..."

"Forest" being the heated, tawny glowing, wood-furnished corner of the pool hall that's laced with waxy fake leaves on its walls. It makes for a rustic DJ booth.

Between spinning LPs, Augie will join his wife and bandmate, Korin, for an acoustic set. Perhaps you'll hear an unplugged rendition of the rock trio's new Christmas single, "Wally Bronner..."

Scottie, meanwhile, continues to helm Bellyache, which recently released the Oscillating Fan Club's 2nd LP, George Washington's Teeth - more info here.
