Prussia (above) had themselves a busy November. Not only did they finish everything up, sonically speaking, for their (still-yet-forthcoming) 2nd full length album, Poor English, but they also helped other bands usher in their own new recordings (The Sights at the Loving Touch, and Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas at the Bakery Loft). Stay tuned...

The Secret Twins join the bill for the 5th Annual Post-Christmas Blowout - at St Andrew's Hall on 12/26 (along with the Hard Lessons).

Bars of Gold are still performing whenever possible, in support of their recent album, Of Gold- which, was reviewed by Alternative Press last month. They play Christmas Eve Eve (12/23) at the Savoy - with Oscillating Fan Club, Jehovah's Witness Protection Program and Mister.

And, Silverghost are fresh off their intergalactic album release party at the Magic Bag. The vinyl of The Year We Make Contact abounds through metro Detroit (or, at least, assuredly at UHF), go digging.

UHF - @ 512 Washington in Royal Oak (they've got Destroy This Place and Cotton Museum playing a free show, Saturday at 7pm.
